Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Bromley Local Authority is seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Manager to lead our Leaving Care Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in supporting young individuals transitioning from care to independent living.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of professionals, providing support and supervision to ensure high-quality services for young people.
Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of young people leaving care.
Work collaboratively with other agencies and stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to support.
Monitor and evaluate team performance to ensure compliance with local authority policies and procedures.
Foster a positive team environment that encourages professional development and continuous improvement.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
A relevant professional qualification in social work or equivalent.
Significant experience in social work, particularly within a Leaving Care context.
Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to promoting the welfare and rights of young people.
What We Offer:
Competitive salary up to £55,890 per year.
