About the Role

The London Borough of Havering is seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Child Protection Team. In this role, you will be instrumental in safeguarding children and ensuring their well-being by assessing risks, managing complex cases, and working closely with families and partner agencies. This is an opportunity to make a real impact, supporting children and families in times of need while collaborating within a committed team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and investigations in child protection cases, ensuring children’s safety and welfare are prioritized.

• Develop and implement child protection plans, working directly with families to support positive changes.

• Collaborate with partner agencies and professionals to provide comprehensive support and intervention.

• Manage a caseload with a variety of complex cases, handling each with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail.

• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with statutory guidelines and organizational policies.

Qualifications and Experience Required
