Social Worker

Devon Council are looking for a Team Manager to join their Assessment & Intervention Team. This is a Full-Time Locum Social Work role.

About The Role:

An experienced Team Manager to support and guide the practice of social workers in Devon’s Duty and Assessment Team to ensure our children and young people are receiving the right interventions at the right time, to improve their outcomes. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Make a vital contribution to the delivery of high-quality services and play an important part in quality assuring work and performance managing staff where needed.
• managers are asked to model a restorative approach across our teams and will be expected to attend and engage with mandatory training, which has been a significant investment for us to build, maintain and repair relationships with our children and families.

About You:

To apply for this role, you will need to be experienced as a Team Manager in Safeguarding and court work and should have strong interpersonal and relationship skills to lead, support and develop the team. 

BA(Hons) in Social Work and to be registered with Social Work England (SWE).

What’s On Offer?

• £48.00p/h
• Hybrid Working – 2 Days a week in Office.
• Weekly £150p/w Accommodation allowance (50miles+)
