About the Role:

Havering is looking for experienced and dedicated Senior Social Workers to join their new Safeguarding Teams. In this role, you will work within a case-holding capacity, focusing on long-term safeguarding work for children and families. The team concentrates on Children in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and children affected by domestic abuse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safeguarding of children within families, keeping them within their homes where possible.
• Manage and progress CIN and CP protection plans.
• Improve outcomes for children and families in need of support.

Requirements:

1. Social Work England (SWE) registration.
2. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in children and families social work, including statutory work and assessments.
