MASH Social Worker – Bromley (Locum)

Pay Rate: £38.50 per hour
Working Pattern: Hybrid (2 days in the office, rest from home)
Location: London Borough of Bromley

Are you an experienced Social Worker ready to join a fast-paced and dynamic team? Bromley's MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub) is on the lookout for skilled professionals to make a real impact on children’s lives.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a MASH Social Worker, you’ll:

Triage and Screen Referrals:
Manage information from multiple agencies (police, schools, health) to assess risks and ensure children’s safety.
Assess Risks:
Use evidence-based frameworks to decide next steps, from intervention to further assessment.
Collaborate with Agencies:
Share and gather critical information to inform safeguarding decisions.
Provide Expert Guidance:
Support partner agencies with advice to strengthen safeguarding practices.
Maintain Accurate Records:
Ensure all decisions and actions are clearly documented and meet statutory requirements.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

Qualifications:
Recognised Social Work qualification and valid SWE registration.
Experience:
Proven experience in MASH or Assessment teams, with strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
Skills:
Excellent risk analysis, decision-making, and communication skills.
