Are you an experienced and dedicated social work professional with a passion for supporting Looked After Children? A North London Borough is seeking a Team Manager to lead their Looked After Children's (LAC) Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned manager to make a significant impact on the lives of children and young people.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in managing a Looked After Children's team.
• At least 2+ years of overall management experience within social work.
• SWE (Social Work England) registration is essential.
• Must currently be working in the UK.

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a dedicated team of social workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to Looked After Children.
• Monitor and oversee the performance of the team to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and best practice.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve outcomes for children in care, promoting stability and permanency.
• Provide professional supervision, support, and development opportunities for team members.
• Ensure effective care planning and decision-making processes for all cases within the team.
• Collaborate with multi-agency partners to ensure comprehensive support for children and young people.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring the efficient use of funds to support service delivery.
• Address complex cases and escalate issues as necessary to ensure appropriate interventions and safeguarding measures.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and reflective practice within the team.
• Contribute to service reviews, inspections, and the development of policies and procedures.
