Children's Social Worker - Localities

South Gloucestershire Council are looking for an Advanced Social Worker to join their North and South Localities Teams. These are Full-Time Locum Social Work roles.

About The Team:

The team provide a service to children and young people who may be in need of support, need of protection or are unable to remain with their families and come into public care. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake Initial and core assessments 
• Create action plans that to meet individual needs, reduce risks and promote strengths. 
• Partner with relevant agencies, children and young people and their families. 
• Where children are deemed to be suffering significant harm at home, look to the wider family network before placing children and young people in care whether this be through the child protection or court process.

About You:

To apply for this role, you will need knowledge and experience in Localities/CP/CIN/LAC Services.

Car Driver and Access to a vehicle is required.

BA(Hons) in Social Work and to be registered with Social Work England (SWE).
