Children's Social Worker - Children Looked After

Somerset Council are looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join their Children Looked After Team. 

This is a Full Time, Locum Social Work role based in Mendip.

About The Team:

You will have the opportunity to support profound changes to a child's life, building long term relationships to see them through their journey.  This Team will give you a unique opportunity to work with unaccompanied asylum-seeking young people.

Key Responsibilities:

• To be passionate and enthusiastic in improving outcomes for the most vulnerable young people within the Children Looked After (CLA) service.
• Provide a gold star service for all children and young people.
• Promoting positive outcomes for children both educationally and socially with reconnection for all families wherever possible.

About You:

To apply for this role, you will need least 3 years post qualification experience. Experience in Children Looked After and Court Work is required. BA(Hons) in Social Work and to be registered with Social Work England (SWE). You will need to hold a full driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
