Child Protection Social Worker

Devon Council are looking for an Advanced Social Worker to join their Children & Families Team. This is a Full-Time Locum Social Work role with a caseload across Mid & East Devon.

About The Team:

You will be working with children and families with a complexity of needs. Your role will include undertaking in-depth assessments and through supervision and mentoring, you will share your knowledge and experience with colleagues and students to continually improve practice standards within your team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate the ability to work with families with complex needs within a multi-agency environment
• Be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of social work mentoring and coaching colleagues
• Be able to lead improvement and challenge the quality of social care practice in a constructive manner

About You:

To apply for this role, you will need least 3 years post qualification experience. BA(Hons) in Social Work and to be registered with Social Work England (SWE).

What’s On Offer?

• £46.00p/h
• Hybrid Working – 2 Days a week in Office.
• Weekly £150p/w Accommodation allowance (50miles+)
