Are you an experienced and passionate Social Worker looking to step into an Advanced Practitioner role? Wakefield Council is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practitioner to join our Children In Care Team. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children and young people in our care.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced social work expertise and leadership within the Children In Care Team.

• Support and mentor social workers, promoting best practices and continuous professional development.

• Develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of children and young people, ensuring their safety, well-being, and stability.

• Collaborate with a range of professionals and stakeholders to deliver comprehensive support to children and families.

• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
   

Requirements:

• Social Work England (SWE) registration is essential.

• Extensive experience in social work, particularly within Children In Care or similar teams.

• Strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, and relevant legislation.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
