Adult’s Advanced Practitioner – Hybrid – Gloucestershire – £39 per hour
 

Sheldon Phillips are working with a Local Authority in Gloucestershire to find an Advanced Practitioner to join their Adult Social Care Team. This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week in the office and offers a competitive rate of £39 per hour (umbrella).

Role Details:

• Position: Advanced Practitioner – Adults
• Location: Gloucestershire (Hybrid – 2 days office-based)
• Rate: £39 per hour (umbrella)
• Contract: Ongoing agency contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert advice and guidance on complex cases within Adult Social Care.
• Support and mentor less experienced social workers to promote best practice.
• Work closely with multi-agency partners to ensure effective safeguarding and care planning.
• Undertake complex assessments and reviews under the Care Act and other relevant legislation.
• Contribute to the development of service improvements and quality assurance processes.

About You:

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
• Significant experience in adult social care, including complex case management.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Safeguarding Adults procedures.
• Excellent communication, assessment, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to support and develop colleagues within the team.
