Mid 2016 Update on business and exciting times ahead for the rest of this year and beyond!

2016 Update – Sheldon Phillips Ltd Well it’s certainly been a very interesting year for us at Sheldon Phillips Ltd. In December 2015 we released the new website and logo as I thought it really needed a bit of a fresh new approach to suit our ethos and personality as a company in the Social Work sector. I honestly think we’ve achieved just that and the response from clients and candidates alike has been very positive. In addition to our website, we have been doing a lot of work on our Twitter feed to make sure that we are creating and sharing industry relevant content quickly and efficiently to ensure that you, our followers are up to date with goings on in the industry. Personally, I have really enjoyed seeing the response from our followers, re tweets, likes, etc as it proves to me that we are sharing and creating content that all of you like and want to see; so thank you.

Our team has grown too! Dominic Joyce joined us in July last year, his first role in recruitment and he has taken it by the scruff of the neck and really shone in his role. In May, Dominic celebrated his Senior Consultant Promotion and as part of his personal incentive package, will be heading to Old Trafford in the coming season for a VIP Match day experience. Chloe joined us from Capita Resourcing and took on our Berkshire, Hampshire and Surrey desk. She has done a great job at developing the area with candidates and clients alike – let me tell you, there is PLENTY going on there right now and long may that continue! Laura joined us in April to work on the London desk with Dom and has quickly settled in and built a very good network of social workers and clients across the city. Having made her first placement, she is very keen to push forward and hit her senior promotion as quickly as possible.

Finally David joined us in May as a Payroll & Compliance Officer and has grasped the job very quickly indeed. His hard work and efficiency has allowed me to develop the company moving forward into new areas across the country and I will have a very exciting announcement coming soon on that front. 6 months in and things are looking very positive for 2016. In fact, we will shortly be looking for another Consultant to join the team here in Newbury, taking us close (but not quite) to capacity for our high street office. That’s quite enough for now, more exciting updates as they come in. Finally just a big thank you to all of our Social Workers and clients across the UK, we couldn’t have got this far without your support and belief in what we do.
